We nourish lives by making smart food choices that...

  • Honor & sustain the land

The steep grass cliffs of Big Sur, the lush farms of Monterey. Every day we cherish the landscapes that make us who we are—the awesome waves at Santa Cruz, the vibrant streets of San Francisco. Crafting food is how we stay mindful of the earth. We choose ingredients that sustain and protect our coast. And we prepare dishes honoring the fact that all around the world, unique cultures celebrate their lands with food, revering its health and nutrition.

  • Cultivate a curious mind & palate

We are food explorers. The Sweet Earth kitchen is a magic temple, where passionate chefs bring together ancient recipes and today's harvest. The result? Food that you'll love, that'll surprise you, that'll satisfy what we all believe: food should be delicious. It should add zest to your day and spice to your mind. We put in your hands an incredible diversity of plant foods and cooking traditions.

  • Sustain a healthy body

We believe food traditions endure for a reason—they allow us to thrive. Millennia have taught cultures what works, and at Sweet Earth we're doing our best to listen. And here's what we've learned: interesting flavors, vibrant colors, and complex textures are the best for our bodies. Follow your nose to those, and there you will find protein, vitamins, probiotics, fatty acids, fibers, it goes on! Inventive cooking means nutritious living. The best for your body: that's our passion.

Our Story

Kelly Swette

Kelly is an innovator & culinary explorer. Her mission: challenge the status quo by taking plant-based foods mainstream. Her secret weapon: taste!

An engineer by training, a marketer by trade and a foodie by love, Kelly has worked for some iconic & innovative companies: from Baxter Labs, Pepsi Cola / Lipton to Calvin Klein, where she was head of Global Marketing.

She is always experimenting – in her kitchen or garden at home with Brian, two boys, a dog and six chickens. Kelly’s passion is cooking amazing vegetarian meals and hoarding cooking magazines & spices; but, she also finds time to coach an underwater robotics team and support local charities.

Brian Swette

Brian became convinced of the importance of a “plant based diet” from his work at the Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University.

After graduating from ASU, Brian worked at Procter and Gamble, Pepsico and ultimately became the COO of eBay.

Brian has been an advisor and board member for a variety of companies including Shutterfly, Care.com, Schiff Nutrition, JCrew and Burger King. Brian is a trustee of Arizona State University.

Not a huge deal, but he did win Ad Age Marketer of the Year 3 times!
